Still Universe
In a world that rushes by, we pause to capture, touch, and hold a moment in time.
In an age of instant, disposable content, we capture everything too quickly—and forget just as fast. At op-ng, we pause to look again and turn back time: ‘Double take, Play it back.’ Our choice of film over digital is intentional. The deliberate friction of film—the inability to see the image instantly, and the patient wait for development—is what transforms a fleeting shot into a memory with depth. A photograph captures a single moment, holding both time and space. Even if that space eventually fades, the memory earned through waiting remains deeply engraved within us. Still Universe is a project about capturing what cannot be easily consumed: owning a single, unrepeatable moment through tangible objects.
